NPP Flagbearer Consults Ghana National Association of Small-Scale Miners on Mining Sector Development

NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has engaged the Ghana National Association of Small-Scale Miners as part of his ongoing consultations with key stakeholders on the future direction of Ghana’s mining sector.

The engagement focused on finding sustainable ways to develop the country’s small-scale mining industry while protecting the environment and creating more economic opportunities for Ghanaians.

Focus on Responsible Mining

During the discussions, key issues surrounding responsible and sustainable mining were considered, with emphasis on balancing economic development with environmental protection.
