Interior Minister Orders Service Commanders to Prevent Circulation of Training Images and Videos

Minister for the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, has directed all Service Commanders to take steps to prevent the unauthorized recording and circulation of images or videos of recruits undergoing training.

The directive is aimed at strengthening discipline, privacy, and security within Ghana’s various security services, particularly during recruit training exercises.

Service Commanders Given Clear Directive

According to the Interior Minister, commanders across the services must ensure that unauthorized individuals do not record or circulate photographs and videos showing recruits while they are undergoing training.

“All Service Commanders must prevent unauthorized recording and circulation of images or videos of recruits in training,” Muntaka Mubarak stated.

The directive places responsibility on the leadership of the respective security services to ensure that appropriate measures are implemented during training activities.

The restriction on unauthorized recordings is expected to help protect the privacy of recruits and prevent sensitive training-related content from being circulated without approval.
