Lihong Shen, the United Nations (UN) Security Advisor and Representative for Ghana, Liberia, and Sierra Leone, has paid a courtesy visit to Ghana’s Special Envoy to the Alliance of Sahel States (AES), His Excellency Retired Colonel Lawyer Larry Gbevlo-Lartey, at Jubilee House in Accra.
The high-level diplomatic engagement reflects the continued commitment of the United Nations and the Government of Ghana to strengthening cooperation on regional peace, security, and sustainable development across West Africa. High-Level Meeting Focuses on Regional Security

Discussions also focused on reinforcing diplomatic engagement and supporting initiatives that contribute to peace, stability, and sustainable development in Ghana and neigh bouring countries, including Liberia and Sierra Leone.
