Dr. Mohammed Amin Antah, the hardworking and development-oriented Member of Parliament for Karaga Constituency, has once again demonstrated his unwavering commitment to education and community transformation by commissioning a modern one-storey 12-unit classroom block for the Northern School of Business.
The commissioning ceremony, which attracted traditional leaders, Islamic scholars, education stakeholders, students, party supporters, and members of the community, marked another significant milestone in the advancement of educational infrastructure in Northern Ghana.
Widely described by supporters as a “saviour of Karaga” and one of the most outstanding Members of Parliament from Dagbon and the five northern regions of Ghana, Honourable Dr. Amin Antah continues to earn admiration for his consistent investment in human capital development, particularly in the area of education.
The newly completed facility at NOBISCO is expected to provide a more conducive environment for teaching and learning while improving access to quality education for students in the area. Community members hailed the project as timely and transformative, noting that it will greatly reduce infrastructure challenges facing the institution.
This latest intervention adds to a growing list of educational projects spearheaded by the Karaga MP. Honourable Dr. Amin Antah has earlier constructed similar school buildings for the Anbariya Islamic Institute and the Almarkaziya Islamic Institute, institutions that continue to benefit from improved academic environments as a result of his support.
In a similar development effort, his close aide, Alhaji Abdul Halim Tikumah, also supported the educational sector through the construction of a smaller version of the project for the Nuriya Islamic Institute.
Observers within the Dagbon Kingdom say the MP has undertaken even more ambitious projects aimed at transforming the lives of the people, with indications that some of these major initiatives will soon be officially unveiled to the public.
Speaking during the ceremony, several community members expressed gratitude to Honourable Antah for his vision, humility, and dedication to the welfare of his constituents. Many offered prayers for Allah’s continued guidance, protection, wisdom, and blessings upon him.
“As he continues to champion development and uplift the people of Karaga and Dagbon, may Allah protect him from the hands of wicked people, strengthen him with good health, and grant him long life and success in all his endeavors,” one elder prayed during the event.
The commissioning of the NOBISCO classroom block further cements Dr. Mohammed Amin Antah’s growing reputation as a strong advocate for education, infrastructure development, and social progress across Northern Ghana. Dr. Mohammed Amin Antah
